Old Town Manor, formerly Eaton Lodge, is centrally located in Old Town just a few steps off Duval Street. It is just a short walk to Mallory Square and the world famous sunset celebration. We are close to the beaches and the marinas, the unique shops, the great restaurants and the festive nightlife that make Key West "The Last Resort".
Enter one of the Key West's oldest and loveliest private gardens. The original winding paths still take you by the fish pond fountain, century old palms with cascading orchids and rare flowering and fruit trees.
"One of the first ornamental gardens on the Keys once grew around the Old Town Manor. Genevieve Warren cultivated it at her charming 1886 Victorian mansion, where she and her physician husband, William, raised their family, along with her impressive orchid collection." ... Key West Gardens and their Stories by Janis Frawley-Holler
Here in this lush and peaceful oasis stand the two historically significant buildings that comprise the Old Town Manor compound. The main house was built in 1886 and is a fully restored Victorian mansion. This classic 3 story Greek revival was constructed just after the Great Fire of 1886 by Samuel Otis Johnson. The Carriage House, once a dry goods store in the early 1880's facing Eaton Street, was converted into a carriage house for the Warren family. Both landmarks have been carefully refurbished to retain its original grandeur and elegance while offering all the modern conveniences expected by today's traveler.
It is on the National Register of Historic Homes and has been the recipient of a Rehabilitation Award from the Historic Florida Keys Foundation and has been featured on the Old Island Restoration Federation Christmas Tour of Historically Significant Homes.
