We're on the list!
The Keys section of the Miami Herald had a nice spread on Keys Lodging going Green. The article congratulated The Banyan Resort for becoming the first in Key West to pass the requirements of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Green Lodging Certified program. The other hotels that have begun the process are the Gardens Hotel, Andrews Inn ...and...yes....you guessed it! Yours truly, Old Town Manor and Rose Lane Villas.
Click the graphics above to read the full article. It gives great info on GLEE -- the Green Living Energy Education group. It feels great to be among the first to pursue Green Lodging certification, especially to be among such an elite group of hotels.
So if your plans don't include us, we hope it will be one that is environmentally conscience.
