Welcome to Old Town Manor

We are thrilled to offer accommodations and amenities to our four-legged friends, that include a comfy LL Bean© dog bed, a complimentary Greenie® (regular size), and pick-up bags for your convenience. We’ll even provide water and food dishes if you forgot yours at home!

Activities for your Dog

Key West is a very dog-friendly city, and we are lucky to live here. We have a great beachside enclosed dog park that has a section for large and a section for small dogs. Many of our restaurants and bars are dog-friendly, just ask our concierge for more information. For the more active dogs, we have the Doggy Paddle Club where dogs and their human guardians can enjoy kayaking and swimming together!

Policies

Dogs are only allowed in specific rooms when available, and advance reservations are required. The nightly rate is $25/day + tax for each dog. The pet friendly rooms include the Garden, Palm, Courtyard, Saratoga and Lime Tree. All pets must be leashed, house broken, people-friendly, non-aggressive, and quiet. Dogs cannot be left alone in the room unless crated. Large dog crate available upon request for a one-time fee of $10.

Our Pets

As much as we pride ourselves on offering friendly services, all of efforts are surpassed by Izzy and Ms. Kitty.

IzzyWhen you arrive at the Old Town Manor, you will be greeted by our trusty dog, Izzy, short for Isadora. Some say she’s part Dalmatian, others say she might be a pure breed, and still others say she isn’t Dalmatian at all!! We experienced “love at first sight” and rescued her from the local shelter the same weekend that Hurricane Isadora was coming through the Caribbean in 2002. Despite her namesake, she is a gentle soul with a young heart. She does require a pat on the head each time you walk by. We know you’ll come to love her just as easily as we did.

Ms. KittyMs. Kitty makes her presence known during breakfast, which is when she tells the guests that she owns the place. She is affectionately called “Walter’s $500 Cat,” after paying off the veterinary bill to remedy her toothache. Ms. Kitty came with the purchase of the property. It would be irreverent to think that we actually own her. As far as she is concerned, we’re lucky to know her. But don’t let her fool you, she is as sweet as they come and would do anything for a friendly scratch on the head.
